DALLAS APRIL 5, 2005 At the International Security Conference and Exposition (ISC) West in Las Vegas, Glen Francisco, field applications engineer for L-3 Communications Infrared Products, will discuss the evolution of uncooled thermal imaging technology for security applications.
At 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April 7, Francisco reviews his paper on security surveillance challenges and proven thermal imaging capabilities in real world applications. Thermal imaging is becoming an addition to the integrated security package that companies rely on to do what other technology cannot, such as see in total darkness, over-the water, and in challenging weather conditions.
ISC West is a well attended and important event for the security industry, said L-3 Communications Infrared Products President Chris Bade. L-3s thermal imagers have become an important part of a complete security system implementation; therefore, it only makes sense to show our capabilities to the people who really need to know the security industry.
ISC West is Americas largest and most attended security event. The 2005 conference brings together all of the major players in the security market for three days of state-of-the-art new products, new trends and technology and an educational conference.
Francisco has more than 25 years of experience in defense and commercial electronics, including with L-3 Communications Infrared Products, Raytheon Commercial Infrared, Lockheed Martin and Boeing.
